Strawberry plants blooming
The strawberry plants are still blooming.  It looks like we'll just have a smaller harvest instead of no harvest from the frost.  We're happy we didn't loose them all!

Potato Garden
We tilled and then weeded and hilled the potato garden this weekend.

Chickens:
After butchering chickens, we moved the younger chickens out to the pasture pens.  Here's the process:

Chicks are still in the coop waiting to be caught

Josh and Jake putting the caught chicks into the trailer.

Chicks waiting to be brought out to the grass

Placing the chicks in their new pens
We pulled some grass throughout the passed few weeks and gave it to these chicks in the coop.  As soon as the chicks got onto the grass they new what to do with it...Eat it!  It took the last batch about a week to figure out how to eat the grass.  We plan to do this again next year.
